Ohh, fie! This is all wrong. Now what shall the characters think of Hamlet? His mother, who was all so ready (or at least willing) to listen to what shethought was Hamlet’s madness, now truely thinks him insane. Or at least I would think so, seeing as he was seemingly conversing with the air.

And no one is going to take the whole killing-of-Polonius thing to great. Especially the King. Ohh, and Layertes might think you a few pegs less of a gentleman, not that he had any high regard in any esteem already. Ophelia might have qualms about this whole affair as well. At least before you got sent to England you got your mother to maybe work on making Claudius not think your totally insane.
